In-Office Privacy Practices

Patients’ personal and medical information is collected, used, and safeguarded according to these regulations during in-person visits only.

Professional Corporation Disclosures

NeuroCognitive Solutions is a professional corporation registered in the state of California to provide neuropsychological services. Dr. Adelina Matevosyan is a licensed clinical psychologist (CA PSY 34427) and the sole owner and operator of the corporation. All neuropsychological services are rendered by or under the supervision and control of Dr. Matevosyan in accordance with the rules and regulations pertaining to the practice of psychology within the state of California.

HIPAA and California Law Compliance

We are committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of your personal health information in compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), as well as applicable California state laws.

For patients receiving healthcare services from our practice, we follow the requirements of HIPAA with respect to uses and disclosures of protected health information (PHI). This includes adhering to HIPAA’s standards for privacy, security, breach notification, and enforcement.

In addition, we comply with the California Confidentiality of Medical Information Act (CMIA) which imposes stricter privacy protections in certain areas beyond HIPAA’s requirements.
